Ethan, KK7UXY, is new Assistant Section Youth Coordinator

The Oregon section has a new Assistant Section Youth Coordinator!

Ethan Looney, KK7UYXY, is a very experienced and talented 16 year old amateur radio operator. He founded the Oregon Youth Amateur Radio Club, has earned DXCC, and participated in the PJ6Y Saba DXpedition. He will be working with Oregon’s Section Youth Coordinators, Affiliated Clubs Coordinator, and ARRL Affiliated clubs to develop and engage youth within our state.

The plan that Frank will be retiring from his SYC position this year, at which time Ethan will assume the role of SYC.
