KK7UXY becomes Section Youth Coordinator
Congratulations to Ethan, KK7UXY, of Albany, Oregon, who has been appointed to the position of Section Youth Coordinator for the Oregon Section. He is an avid young extra class operator who earned DXCC in his first two years of being licensed.
He is a member of the Willamette Valley DX Club, remotely operated as part of the PJ6Y Saba DXpedition, is scheduled to remotely operate in the 2026 VK9XY Christmas Island DXpedition, and created and has served as President of the Oregon Youth Amateur Radio Club since 2025. He has worked to grow youth involvement in numerous other clubs,.
