W7O Celebrating the Oregon State Fair

We are NOW activating W7O across Oregon to commemorate the Oregon State Fair.

August 26 – September 9, 2026

Our volunteer operators, located all over the state of Oregon, are handing out QSOs. YOU can be one of these volunteer operators, too! We’re operating from the State Fair in Salem, although antennas are “compromised.”

And we have a booth at the fair from 8/28-8/31. Watch the spotting networks to find out where we are, and when.

The mascot’s name is Sunny, and as you can see, Sunny knows how to make QSOs.
