American Legion Post 10 (Albany) Ham station comes online!
The American Legion Post 10 (Albany) Ham station has come online!
It is available for use by Post 10 members (Legion, Auxiliary, Sons of the American Legion and Legion Riders) holding a valid Amateur Radio License and verified by the Command Office, and Scouts and Cub Scouts who wish to earn their Radio Merit Badge and maybe even take the Technician License Exam. It can be used when called upon by Linn County Emergency Management.
This station exists through donations of goods, services, and time by Alpha Antenna, DX Engineering, Chameleon Antenna Blaine KJ7ECX, Tony W7PCU, Richard NW7OR, Corey KK7OKI, and Dan WA7ABU.
