ODART exercise this Saturday (June 13, 2026)
What is ODART?
ODART is the Oregon Disaster Airlift Response Team. ODART will be carrying out a statewide amateur radio communications path checking event. The goal is to create a map of working communications paths between airfields in the state.
There will also be an aeronautical mobile station aloft over the NW corner of the state to test contact capability first across the coast range and then across the Cascades. It will carry a cross band repeat radio (VHF in and UHF out), a Winlink RMS Post Office, and APRS.
